Oostende...sand and water fever!

Hello everyone,

Just got back from the beach today in Oostende. And oooh it was fun! First we thought we will not stay because the sun was gone and the clouds showed up together with some fog and cold breeze. But while we were having our lunch Papa thought since we were there anyway, why not try to let me walk on the sand and touch the water...

Walk in the sand, you say??? I RAN! With my barefeet!

And did I say touch the water??? I JUMPED THE WAVES and made sure I GOT WET till my pamper got so thick and full!

And by the way, I also tried some moves to check on the chicks sunbathing at the beach! "How are you doin'?" And they think Im cute! So how was that for an opening line?

And then after a while, the sun showed up and we decided to stay. We got our beach stuff from the car and looked for a nice spot out of the wind. We found one just a few meters away from the Q-music beach house. The place was perfect and the sand was good! Papa buried my legs under sand. And when I saw my chance...I TRIED to bury him too..but to no avail :-( Didnt have equipment enough! Papa was bigger than I thought.

Papa also tried building castle but I was faster in breaking it down than he can put it up!

And for sure Mama and Papa enjoyed as I did.

We will be back BEACH! Wait for me!

BBQ with the family

Good Morning

Every sunday morning we try, as much as possible, to go online and talk to Lolo and Lola and the rest of the gang in Manila. Today I showed them that I can also walk with Mama's slippers! Even drive a bus with it!

Good Afternoon

Around 2pm everybody started arriving for the bbq. First it was Oma, Opa and Moemoe, then came Peter Pan and the pregnant Tinkerbel (with a trampoline and fish net for my bathtub), Meter Vicky, Nonkel Danny and Celeste, and then the rest followed like mushrooms in the field!

And you know who else was there??? Lieke! Together with Celeste, we played with the trampoline, the ball, Nintje, en Pipo and every toy I have. We also danced a lot, especially me :-)

When it was time to eat, we also ate. Papa and Mama's bbq was so delicious!

It was surely a warm, fun but also tiring day. And I know Lieke was also tired so I gave her something to drink.

And Good Night!

Yup, time to drink milk and sleep...well, we will see each other again on August 9. It will surely be as fun as today :-)

Such a nice summer day!

Jongens, jongens, whew! It was warm today! But also not forgetting, warm is fun! I enjoyed, like any other day, my stay in Balen with Oma and Opa. But today is a little bit more special than others. No, its not anyones birthday, its just that today was such a warm wonderful sunny day :-)

So nice that I even drank my milk outside by the grass with Mama and Papa.

Hope it stays until sunday for our BBQ but Mama just told me that she heard from the radio that on Saturday and Sunday there will be a chance that it will rain :-(

Visit to Tante Maria

Hey ho kabouters!

Last Sunday Opa and Papa were busy fixing the "plinten" at home..so that we dont disturb them Oma, Mama and I drove off and went to Heusden-Zolder to visit Tante Maria for once! It was a long time since we visited her, it was still at her birthday party last year...so I guess its time to visit her once more.

When we got in she was knitting a "sjaal", very nice one. She immediately recognized me and started teasing me! Not long, we headed for the "cafetaria" to have some drinks and ice cream. I had my own drink and cookie but sitting there is quite a lot of fun! Lots of Opa's and Oma's where waving at me and I smiled back at them. They were all laughing when I walked through the hall and they said I was such a big small boy :-)

Afterwards, it was time for me to go home and take my nap. I gave everyone (as in EVERYone) my famous "flying kiss" and my "da-da" and they all loved it! But of course I gave Tante Maria a real big wet kiss! She deserves it!

Happy Father's Day

Yesterday (even if the weather was not terrific) we celebrated Papa's day. And yes I have 3 of them..sort of :-)

Mama and I prepared delicious BBQ and cake for Papa and Opa. And as entertainment of the day, I showed off the craziest face I can make :-)

And for my Lolo in Las Pinas, I greeted him in Skype. Eventhough I was not really in the mood to talk long through the internet, I still gave my Peek-a-booh, my claps, told my stories, showed my funny laughing face and my ewo (hello) to nono (lolo) :-)

09 June 2009 - Visit to Lyano and my new Bumba hat

Today we visited baby Lyano, the newborn son of Papa's ex colleague from Makro SPL. Such a cute baby with a very big smile! I wanted to play with him but he looks so fragile in his seat...so just tried to make him laugh my way :-) And gave him a big wet kiss!

07 June 2009 - Voting and Diana's Babyborrel

Voting? What can I say about that? I just went with Mama and Papa inside the booth and we were out before I know it!

Diana's babyborrel is more fun! We drove there after voting. And hola! What did we see??? Looots of children! Tons of toys! In there was I think a child's paradise!

06 June 2009 - Liesbeth and Wesley's wedding

The long awaited wedding of Liesbeth and Wesley finally arrived! Everybody was dressed so nicely...and of course me too! Celeste was one of the flower girls and Storm was the ring bearer. I would have loved to have joined them but Im still too small. I might just lose the ring...somehow (ulk!)

Anyway, Mama, Papa and I went to the mass at the church and that is something! The church is overwhelming, a man with a white dress was speaking in front and Wesley and Liesbeth were facing him. They are having some kind of a meeting I think. Then the rest, including me, were sitting behind L&W, also facing the man in the white dress. Mama said his name is Priest. What a weird name. Niels sounds better.

I was so behaved sitting on Opa's lap when suddenly Storm and Celeste started playing with my buggy...and that I cant let happen! So I went there and took over!

When everything was finished, people clapping, I clapped also of course, Priest (the guy wearing the white dress) went our way and made a sign on our forehead. Celeste didnt want it. I just let him do what he has to do...cause I know that MOST of the older people know what they are doing :-)

But then after the mass Mama and Papa have to bring me home. Donna and Toby were waiting for me already at the door. They are my babysitters for tonight :-) And I had looots of fun with them! Thanks again Donna and Toby!!!

02 June 2009 - Pinkstermaandag

Before they leave for vacation, it has been their tradition that we all come together at their place to see each other and eat together. So, last Monday we visited Meter Vicky, Nonkel Danny and Celeste before they drive to Italy this week for a 2-week vacation! Of course Oma and Opa were there.

Celeste and I played a lot! I showed them how good I am in playing my harmonica and looks like Celeste is too!

We also witnessed how the neighbor stacked their hay into cubes! That was very interesting. Opa and Papa lifted me up so I can see how it went with the tractor.

Then, Celeste and I started drawing on her board, playing with her kitchen, with the ball, and a lot more!

Whew! That was a long list! Till the next event guys!
