10 March: Tagaytay Highlands 2 - Swim and Leslie's

Good morning Tagaytay!!!
View from our terrace this morning

Morning Swim

We headed for a morning swim around 9am at the sports club where we ate lunch yesterday. Everybody dressed up to their swim suits, put sunscreen on (although there was no sun) and touched the water with our toes...ICE COLD!

On the way to the pools

2 pools next to each other and we had it for ourselves alone!

First I was hesitating to go into the water but when I saw leaves floating on the water, I didnt care that the water was cold anymore. I had to get to those leaves! And then Mama found the warm jacuzzi and we moved there with Papa. The rest stayed in the cold swimming pool! Brrrrrrr!

Jacuzzi, they have about 6 of them or maybe even more

After an hour or two, lolo and lola arrived. They went into the jacuzzi while we ate breakfast upstairs at the restaurant.

Calaruega, Batangas (read more on next blog)
After my morning nap, we set off to Calaruega, Batangas. It was not far but still took us about 30 to 40 mins to get there. We visited the chapel up the hill and the botanical garden.

Leslie's Restaurant

After Calaruega, our stomachs were growling from hunger. We headed on to Leslie's and had an early dinner. The cool breeze and nice view made our hunger uncontainable!

Inspecting the vicinity with Lolo

Trying the path if it was safe

Water quenches not only thirst but also delays hunger!
"Where is our food???"

Taal Volcano at the background

Here were some poses taken while we were waiting impatiently for our warm delicious food!
