Met de auto naar Oostende!

Hello everyone,

Friday was windy but warm enough to go to the beach. We did not play in the sand (too cold for that kind of activity) but Mama and Papa dragged me as close as possible to the water so I can see what an ocean looks like. The waves, the wind on my face and the sea gulls are very attractive to me.

Here are some pictures of our trip:

What will I be when I grow up?

Niels with his new ball

Basketball player or football player?
We have to wait and see because for now I'm just learning how to enjoy the ball!

Im the BOSS now!

In my babychair
(in Belgium they call it kakastoel!)

Nowadays I can sit straight on my own for a few minutes...yeah, only a few minutes not longer. Otherwise, after this few minutes I begin to lean on one side and stay there! I call it MY RELAXING MOMENT, Mama and Papa call it...NOT-READY-YET.

When I sit in my kakastoel they have to put cushions all over me to avoid hurting myself during my so called relaxing-moment :-) I might hit my head on the chair, I might hurt my shoulder, etc. etc. Parents! Parent! Parents! They are always so worried about everything! But anyway, Im just a toddler, when I grow older I will show them what I'm made of!

GET READY!

Translation: Kaka = babytalk for dump (excuse me for my words); stoel = chair

Een hapje van Oma's broodje...

I just can't wait anymore!

Last Sunday we went to Papa's work (they were unusually open last Sunday to celebrate Metro's 5th birthday). There they had a GIANT bread! The biggest bread I have ever seen and they were roasting a pig.

Oma gave me a taste of her bread...but I didnt give it back to her anymore. It was delicious!

It was a tiring day

Mama was so enthusiatic about it, she told me she remembers Philippines when she sees a roasting pig. hmmm...

A visit to Vincent and Ermina

Hello you all,

Mama and I went to Hasselt last saturday to visit Tita Rachella, Ermina and Vincent. Ermina was not home at first (she attended her classmate's birthday party in Pretland).

By 4.30pm, Tita Rachella picked Ermina up...I was left with Mama and Vincent (sleeping in his room). By 5pm, Vincent woke up, looking for his Mama...so my mama went to tell him that his mama will be home soon and that he can come to the living room and sit down...and then I woke up! So Mama has 2 babies to take care of! Mama took me and brought me closer by Vincent because Vincent just stood up where he was...STEADILY. He did not move a single bit...only his eyeballs were moving ha ha ha.

When Tita Rachella and Ermina got home, we played a lot! We played with the ball and the drum!

But the ball is my favorite! Tita Rachella was playing ball with me and I cant just stop laughing so hard! I enjoyed it a lot!
