Diepenbeek Pinoy BBQ!

What bad weather we have today! Good I found consolation to this bad weather. Today we went to Diepenbeek. For the first time we had BBQ sponsored by Rosalia and Jo! By the way, Rosalia is a Filipina who Mama met during her Dutch classes in PCMT in Hasselt.

Armed with my bag full of grapes and strawberries, drink cup, my own spoon and fork, a slab, 2 pieces pamper, wet napkin and a few toys we attacked their home in Diepenbeek!

Arriving, Rosalia greeted us in her humble abode. Ermina and Vincent welcomed me inside and of course their parents were there too. Preggy Donna and Toby where also present. Vincent was playing with Kenny’s toy computer and it looks very very interesting. It was love at first sight! I waited like a snake for Vincent to leave his position…as soon as he left I jumped onto the chair and possessed the computer table!

While the parents were busy barbecuing, the children (including me) were busy playing all over the place. When it was time to eat, I ate my delicious HOT soup! Ermina just kept on laughing when I start to shake from eating a hot soup! And I kinda liked it so I repeat shaking even if my soup was as cold as as ice-water already! Hey, at least I entertained her.

Next on the menu was the bbq meat and the potato. Yum yum. I almost finished eating a big piece of toasted bread before I even started with my potato and meat. I was seating beside Vincent and once in a while, during my chewing intervals, I say hi to him…but he turns his head the other way, I don’t know why but I didn’t care much. I continued eating and said hi again after a few minutes hehehehe.

When eating time was done, we played with Kenny’s tractor, bike and car. I had the tractor and drove like a PRO! Papa and Mama can’t believe how good I can stir my wheels. "Splendid sense of direction" and "nano-second-reaction-time" are 2 things I’m a master of. With Pipo and Nijntje at home as my training gears, I’ve learned myself to drive fast in a small space with lots of obstacles and curves. Sharp turns are as natural to me as doing pipi (hihi).

Anyway, here is a picture of us with the mommies and the future mommy Donna:
