Around Belgium in 5 visits in the month of May

24 May 2009 – Pinoy Brunch in Brussels with Mai and David

We visited Mai and David, together with Donna and Toby, to congratulate them with their wedding last February...and also to congratulate them for their coming baby in November!!! Another playmate for me!!! Yuppie! Thanks for the delicious pancit and chocolate cake!

23 May 2009 - Visit from Ghent - Claudio and Lorena

And guess what!?! I received a nice desktop phone that speaks French and Dutch! Thank you Claudio and Lorena and we hope to see you again soon!

22 May 2009 – Visit to Antwerp

Mama and I went on a train ride to Antwerp to visit her ex-colleagues Tom and Kris. My first train ride was so much fun! So many people laughing at my funny tricks, and lots of cars in the parking lot too! On the way home it wasn’t as busy. Mama and I had the whole seat for our own. I took my shoes and stood on the seat, looked outside while the train drove so fast. Had fun with the hair of the women behind us too! For a train ride I’m definitely in for a second round!

17 May 2009 - Papa to Scherpenheuvel

Papa and the Metro gang did their death walk to Scherpenheuvel that day with Mama as the stand by support and food deliverer. And I, I was left in the goooood hands of my Peter Pan and Tinkerbel and they say I was such a gooood boy. Thanks again Peter Pan and Tinkerbel! I promise Mama and Papa will do the same to your baby when you need their help :-)

03 May 2009 – Kermis in Rosmeer

Of course! Of course! Celeste and I will never miss this kermis!

Last 03 May was kermis in Riemst. Meter Vicky, Nonkel Danny and Celeste invited us to join the fun. Its not my first time to visit the kermis in Riemst. Last year we also went here but I was too young to remember everything. Oma told me I was just sleeping the whole time last year despite the noise. But this time I was WIDE AWAKE! I will not let another chance like this pass by!

First it was Celeste’ turn to ride the Paardenmol. She was showing me how to ride while I cling tight to Opa. Kinda scary at first but once they had me in there, I never let go!

Mama joined me and Celeste on my first Merry-Go-Round trip. We chose a broooom broooom to ride and both Celeste and I had our own stirring wheel to use. It feels so real! I enjoyed it a lot, Mama normally gets dizzy in this kind of rides, but this time she was also enjoying with us. And as I told you, once they had me in there…its difficult letting go!

Next attraction was catching ducks. With Opa, I was able to catch 10 ducks and got a nice red sports car for my prize! I couldn’t wait to play with my car and didn’t let go of it anymore until we got home.

Ciao,

Tired Niels
