Since I have been gone for such a long time...2 months to be precise, I have to make a back track of all the events that transpired.  So if I were you, I will set my seatbelt tight and hold on to my seat cause from tonight you will be treated with pictures and happenings from past...and then back to the future!

Celeste’s 7th Bday Party

I still could not believe that Celeste is already 7!  I could still remember when Nico and I visited Vicky at the hospital in Tongeren after Vicky gave birth...meaning when Celeste was born...such a little (actually a big baby) but still a little sweet baby girl.  The only great grandchild that Bomma has seen.  A lucky little baby.

I still remember how she always crave for her food on a Sunday during a visit to Bomma in Bloemelingen.

Then growing to be a biiiig girl year after year.

Celeste, your Mama and Papa, are very very proud of you.  All the things you can do at age 7 are totally to be proud of...and as your Godmother (Meter)  I am, like your parents, really happy and proud of what you have become.

And of course we didnt miss your birthday party!  Together with Nonkel Nico, Niels (who likes smiling beside you on your photo with your bday cake hahahaha), and Nina...we drove with 2 cars especially to Rosmeer to bring you your gift.

Nina’s swimming lessons starts!

Yup, its about time that Nina learns and gets used to the splashes and waves of the pool!

Niels' Try Out for the Gym Class (turnles)

Gym lessons? Niels?  We also thought so.  If it was more intensive then it would have been OK, but after 15 mins of playing around and following the teachers together with the little (really little) kids...he has seen it all. 

That's why the try-out remained as a try out and we went to the next building for a better activity for Niels...TENNIS!

Starting October Niels will be following his first tennis lessons :-)  THAT would be fun!

Nina: 11 months and crawls very fast...in her own special way

She is growing sooo fast!


Nina and Nijntje...the unstoppable duo.  Nina thinks she can conquer the world together with Nijntje. They can go anywhere, do anything, and mess up EVERYTHING! Nothing is safe anymore with our little princess!

A simple note, Nijntje helped Niels a lot also supporting him good when he was learning how to walk in 2008!


By the way, she can bite good now with her 4 teeth :-)

Niels' first day of Nursery school (1ste kleuterklas): 01.09.2011

Ah, vacation is finished…school starts again.

Today all kids in Belgium start their classes and Niels is not an expection. He saw his old buddies and he enthousiastically entered his new classroom. With his bag behind him and his big big smile in front, it looks like nobody and nothing can break his happiness today :-)

For the Mamas and Papas, be proud and do not worry too much, they will all enjoy!
