2nd Birthday Party...HIP HIP HOERA!

Even if I'm just 2...what a wonderful thing this feast called PARTY!

I was too eager to blow the candle...Mama had to hold me back!

Nyum!  When the cake was cut...I was the first one to have a slice!

But the best part is...OPENING MY GIFTS!

I got the best gifts ever!  A marvelous trainer bike from Meter Vicky, Nonkel Danny and Celeste!  THANKS!  I will surely practice good at home so I will be ready by summer.

Second gift...from Oma and Opa

To match up the Winter Jacket is this 3 pairs of warm socks!

Third gift...from Mama and Papa...besides the nice party!

Wow! A Nijntje laptop...altough when I used the mouse, I thought it was a phone.  I picked it up, put it against my ear and said "HELLO?"

Fourth gift...from Peter Pan

A big magnetic drawing board!

Then Mam can save some on those paper I always ask from her.

Fifth gift...from Tinkerbel

A wooden memory game...I bet Mama and Papa will be the one playing this first. Hahaha

Sixth gift...from Baby Fee, a wooden geometric worm..or simply BLOKJES to me hehe

Also Moemoe gave me savings and my whole family in the Philippines send me a big card full of warm wishes!

Well opening the gifts made us all hungry so here we are enjoying our dinner!

And aside from being the birthday boy, Im also the DJ for tonight..so ROCK on!

PS.  We also paid a visit to Kind&Gezin and here are my stats: 13,8kg and 88,5cm..and Im as healthy as I can be!

Happy 2nd Birthday to meeeh!

Yup! Im 2!  On my birthday Mama and Papa bought a 3-Kings-Pie since Im born during the 3 kings celebration.  The whole afternoon children were ringing our doorbell, singing songs and begging for candies or money. Everytime the bell rings I say "Alweer???"  and then I run to the door to listen to their song and give them coins or let them dig into my candy bag.

The pie was delicious but we have to be careful that I dont swallow the bean that was hidden in the pie...anyways, even if it wasnt me who got the bean...I was still the KING OF THE DAY!

I blew my 2 candles off too fast, papa wasnt able to take a picture of it!

Welcome 2010!

Saying goodbye to 2009, a year full of new experiences - good & bad, lots of challenges and lessons learned - was with mixed emotions.  2009 was a very interesting year seeing how Niels learned lots of new things from starting to walk to having to be the one running after him when we go someplaces.  from feeding him his milk to him making his own sandwich.  It was a fun year, I will miss it.  But if course 2010 is here and as Niels is growing so fast, I bet that this year will pass as quickly as the speed of light!
