Before Niels starts school he has to visit Plopsa Coo…and Papa found the best day!

Yup, Fee is already 2! How fast can time fly! I could still remember when she was born…such a cute small baby…and now…a big pretty girl. Peter Pan’s garden was transformed into a dangerous domain…with 3 scary Pirate’s…no one was spared!

However, they cannot touch the small float of these 2 fairies protected by all the gods and goddesses watching the vast ocean!

With the Bergoets in Trier: 14-15.08.2011

Last 14-15 August we decided to take a weekend away with the Bergoets. And Trier, Germany won the vote as our final destination!

Weather started cold and rainy and by midday...WARM AND SUNNY!!!  The 3 kiddos Ermina, Vincent and Niels have been having so much fun while Nina is enjoying the sun :-)

Brunch at Tante Nicole’s: 07.08.2011

Lots of things had happened and my blog was stuck in August. Since Nina’s 10th-month-blog Nina and Niels had shown lots of new tricks, new developments, and new activities in their already-busy-little-life. Just confirming why I wasn’t able to post anything for the whole 2 months.


So let’s pick up the pieces…

Brunch at Tante Nicole’s: 07.08.2011

Like any other year, we all look forward to this Brunch at Tante Nicole’s place. One of those times when we see the whole family, all the preggy girls and all the babies small and big :-)


And every year, we also make it a point that we take pictures of all of Bomma and Bompa’s achterkleinkinderen (great grandchildren).


So get ready for your first threat:

Ons gekke kleine meid is 10 maanden oud!

Our crazy little girl is 10 months old!

Voor de eerste keer heb ik Nina zien staan dansend in haar bed toen ik haar ging halen na een dutje...ik weet niet hoe ze dat gedaan heeft maar dat was de eerste keer, en dan kwan er nog 2 keren daarna :-)

For the first time I saw Nina standing and dancing when I picked her one time from her bed after her nap.  I dont know how she did it but it was the first time :-) And 2 more times after that.

De ene keer had ze haar babyfoon plus de laaaaange kabel kunnen trekken in haar bed van op het nachtafeltje...de volgende keer heb ik het ver genoeg geplaats...geen tweede keer voor mij.

The other time she even had her babyphone pulled in her, with the cables and all.  The next time I put the night table far enough ;-)

Ze speelt goed met de piano, ze danst met elk muziek, ze praat heel veel, en ze schreeuwt ook heel haard!  Ze kan goed verstoppertje spelen (achter het gordijn en achter mijn was), en ze kan hoedjes op haar hoofd zetten.  Zeker de Bumba hoed vind ze heeeeel leuk!

She plays good with the piano and dances in every music, she talks a lot and I mean A LOT!  She also screams so hard!  Hide and seek is now her favorite game (behind the curtains or behind the laundry), and she could put anything that resembles a hat on her head...her favorite is the Bumba hat.

En als je tegen haar zeg "Waar is mijn gekke kleine meid?"  Dan gaat ze razend snel weg kruipen en lachend!  Je moet haar maar kittelen...ALS je haar kunnen pakken!

When you ask "Where is my crazy little girl?"  She will crawl away as fast as she can while laughing out loud!  Cause she knows that when I catch her...Mama will be tickling her hard...but that is if you could catch her!
